candleAs I expected, a lot to enjoy and a lot to learn. I have personally enjoyed a lot the game of contrasts between the soldier and all the features (weapons, gear, uniform) and pain which defines her, and the warmth of her lover and their home. somehow i undertand that as a 2beauty and the beast" feeling, not calling Kris a beast, but she´s back from when the beasts are.

sinfulwolfIn a way she fears herself a beast. Perhaps not in appearance, but certainly now in temperament. I enjoyed playing with the contrast between the two. It was a rather personal story for me.

VoeA very good start with a lovely intimate scene. Although I was kinda hoping for more details about the characters before the sexy stuff. :p

sinfulwolfWhy thank ye. As for the details, that was a conscious choice on my part. I like to keep physical description spaced out over multiple chapters, so with a one shot piece like this, a lot of details get left up to the imagination. If yer talking more background details, I again did that on purpose mostly to hone in on this one specific portion of their lives.

Certainly something to keep in mind though for the next piec. Especially if other's feel the way you do as well.

Th3Obs3rv3r
[Transmission start] Great Story!!! When I saw the title I instantly thought of the song "Coming Home" by Avenged Sevenfold. Oddly enough it practically mirrored the song even though I did expect it to. Obs3rv3r out [Transmission end]

sinfulwolfI've actually never heard that song. I was listening to Comin' Home by City and Colour... though the Avenged Sevenfold version actually does fit quite nicely. And I got a new track for me playlists.

Thanks for the comment.

sinfulwolfThank ye dear. I was aiming for a much more tender and loving tone than I've been writing of late. Kind of a switch up and experiment for me. Very glad ye liked it and picked up on all those things I had.
